The core mission of Masjid al-Mu’min of Pittsburgh is to serve the Muslim community and our neighbors by offering meaningful programs and services that strengthen family ties, foster unity, and provide spiritual balance in daily life. In a world that can often feel overwhelming, the masjid remains a place of peace, guidance, and connection. Over the years, many have benefited from its presence, and we are honored to continue serving our community. As part of our ongoing efforts, Masjid al-Mu’min implements the 10-Point Madinah Program—principles that are not new but often overlooked, and which are vital for keeping our community thriving.
We are also pleased to share that Masjid al-Mu’min has been recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This means that your generous donations (sadaqah) are tax-deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code, allowing you to support the masjid while receiving the benefit of charitable contribution deductions.
